Sorry for all the flying Icebat pictures, I just decided to try these "photoshop" like techniques today, so this is all pretty new to me.
For this picture, I shot Icebat on the counter with the 60mm 2.8, using the 600 speedlight pointed at the ceiling.
The background was just a mildly lit wall in my entry, when I clicked "Enhance" in iPhoto, it turned into the sun. Stoked.
From there, Icebat went into Acorn for some eye manipulation. :)
I cut out Icebat in Gimp, pasted him on the background, rotated him, and added mucho motion blur to his lower half.
From there, Icebat went into Picnik for some softening and whitening of the eyes and teeth. A triple shot of saturation sealed the deal. :)
Thanks for reading,

You make it sound easy! The results are fantastic.
Thanks Ryan!!
It really isn't that difficult once you get going. The hardest part was cutting out Icebat, but when I think about it, it couldn't have taken longer than 5 minutes...
Fun stuff, thanks for reading!
